As you are entering Steps, to the left of each step is a series of icons.  One of these icons is a red "X" and it allows you to delete the step to which the icon is associated.  Once you click the step, the step disappears and if there are any steps succeeding, they are automatically moved to the top of the list.

For steps that were defined with a Given, When, Then Statement at the beginning of the step, it may be necessary to modify the step by reinserting the missing Given, When, Then identifier.  If the deleted step was an And statement, it is likely that the remaining steps are classified correctly.
