How to create a Frame

Synopsis:

This guide explains how to create a Frame in the Page File Builder.

Applicable to:

Validating a Frame and Elements contained within.

Prerequisite:

Page File has to be created.

How to:

  1. Click Add an Element on the Page File.
  2. Select Frame from the Element Type select list.

  3. Select a Location Method and then define the Location String.
  4. Click Save and this will create the Frame header under which all Frame Elements should be added.
  5. Once a Frame Element has been created in the Page File you can add new Elements by clicking the green arrows that appear while hovering over the Element.

    Click the right arrow to add an Element to the Frame and the down arrow to add an Element to the Page File but outside of the Frame container.

  6. All future Elements added to the Frame using the green '+' will be placed within the Frame container. Any Element not in the Frame can be created outside the Frame container and in Page File.
