How to setup the target URL for an application

Synopsis:

This guide explains how to setup the target URL for an application in the Janova configuration.

Applicable to:

Linking Janova to the application that is to be tested.

Prerequisite:

Need to be account owner for the Application. All other users will have read only access to the Configuration page.

How to:

  1. Click on the Configurationlink in the Navigation menu.

  2. Click on Add an Environment or select the green arrow to the left of an existing environment while hovering over it.

  3. Enter the name and the URL for the web page or application you want to test. Be sure to enter the complete URL.

  4. If this will be your default application (where you want the majority of your tests to run) then select the Make Default Environment checkbox.

  5. Click on Update Application or Create Application if this is a new application.
  6. If you want to remove only the URL you would use the 'remove' button in the in-line editing.
  7. Click the Update Application button to save all changes made to the Configuration setup.
