How to create and delete a Feature

Synopsis:

This guide explains how to create a Feature in the Feature Builder.

Applicable to:

Executing a test in Janova.

Prerequisite:

Be in a new or preexisting Application in order to create the Feature.

How to: 

  1. Login to Janova
  2. Select the Application you want to work on from the top navigation bar.
  3. Click on Feature tab at the top of the screen.

  4. Click on New Feature.  Screen will open up to the right.
  5. Under Name, highlight New Feature and define the Feature name you want.
  6. Enter the User Story.

  7. Click Save and Continue.
  8. A blank Scenario template should appear.
  9. Header a name for this specific test script.  NOTE:  You can have multiple Scenarios within one Feature.
  10. Click Save and Continue.
  11. A blank step option template should appear.  Select your options from the drop down arrow to create steps.

  12. Click Save and Continue to create steps.
  13. Click Save and Close when steps are completed.
  14. Click Add Scenario to create more scenarios.

  15. Repeat steps above to create a test script within the Scenario.
  16. Select which browsers the test will execute with in the cloud worker.

  17. Click Queue button to execute a single Scenario or click Queue this Feature to run all test scripts within the given Feature.
